“Booked a 1 night stay very last minute at Mr Moos and we were so glad we did. On arrival we were met by the warden who was brilliant and had us laughing straight away. Very well organised check in. We were given an information pack and also some good tips too. Our pitch(34) was a good size and had access to EHU, water and grey waste. The toilets and showers were kept very clean. The campsite as a whole looked very well looked after. We ventured down to the beach a few times as it was only a 15 minute walk direct from site. Mr Moos ice cream parlour did bacon and egg sandwiches and we might have sampled an ice cream or two as well.

Will definitely be back, we loved it and the dogs did too. Thank you.”

“A five star, fantastic site. Friendly, clean, relaxing and extremely well-run. 10 minute walk from site to beautiful, almost deserted beach. On-site cafe and ice cream parlour. Mango and cherry ice creams highly recommended! Site is divided into different areas so it’s suitable for families and couples. Clean and well-maintained facilities on site. The nearby Board Inn in Skipsea offers hearty pub food. Bridlington and Hornsea not far away.

Highly recommend this site to enjoy a quieter stretch of the beautiful East Yorkshire coast.”

“The site is immaculate, with a central grass area, hard-standing and hook-up areas. This is a quiet location and the management seem happy to keep it this way. There is a lovely walk to the sea, with a bit of interesting history thrown in. The beach is great, perfect for walking, including with our dog. One tip – find out high and low tides, once the sea is in, it’s right in! A well-known highlight of the site is it’s wonderful ice cream, a reputation fully deserved, but the café sells a range of food too. All staff are very friendly, lovely, helpful people.

Totally recommended, we will be coming back!”
